BOARD BIOGRAPHY Biography of Candace King Candace King is a visionary renewable energy tiny home community developer dedicated to transforming housing security for low-income families. With a rich background as a licensed real estate agent in Pennsylvania, she has a proven track record of championing innovative solutions to home ownership. In 2016, Candace King was honored as a global changemaker at the State of Women Summit hosted by the White House. This recognition was complemented by a citation from the legislative branch of Pennsylvania for exemplary community service through the Beautiful Brown BOLD Women project. In 2018, she founded King Property Investments, aiming to create non-traditional routes to home ownership that empower marginalized communities. With over 15 years of project management experience, Candace King holds both PMP and CSM certifications, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in managing complex initiatives. Currently, she is pursuing a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, driven by a profound understanding of the mental health challenges stemming from housing insecurity faced by families, seniors, and veterans. This holistic approach reflects Candace's belief in the power of community to address these pressing human issues. An avid lover of sea turtles, Candace has traveled extensively, gaining insight into how human behavior affects our planet. This passion for environmental stewardship underpins her conviction that renewable energy is essential for a sustainable future. Prior to this, she served as a contractor for NASA, contributing to the International Space Station project and witnessing firsthand the implications of human behavior on Earth. Candace King holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science, a graduate degree in Public Administration, and a graduate certificate in project management. As a lifelong learner, she continues to pursue knowledge and skills to foster impactful change in communities and the environment. Candace King is at the forefront of creating a brighter, more equitable future for all with a unique blend of real estate expertise, project management proficiency, and a deep commitment to mental health and sustainability. Biography of Ozigbu Bruno Ozigbu Chidozie Bruno is an accomplished entrepreneur and technologist with a dynamic portfolio of achievements in both the energy and technology sectors. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Chemistry alongside numerous professional certifications including NEBOSH, CAIS, and UN training, Ozigbu possesses a robust foundation in industrial safety and quality management. With over a decade of distinguished experience as a HSQE Advisor in Nigeria's maritime, oil and gas industry, Ozigbu has collaborated on significant offshore projects with prestigious companies such as Cardinal Drilling Nigeria Limited, Total/ELF Jack Ryan, and Addax Petroleum. This extensive industry expertise fueled his passion for environmental sustainability, leading to the establishment of Luchrinottz Nigeria Limited, a consultancy dedicated to Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) services, executing impactful projects in Lagos and Port Harcourt. He also worked as chief mate onboard several supply vessels that conducted various activities offshore from laying underwater pipes to mooring tanker ships and more. Relocating to the United States in 2020, Ozigbu expanded his entrepreneurial ventures by founding LNL Group USA, a company focused on the design, installation, and maintenance of Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV), reinforcing his commitment to sustainable and innovative energy solutions. Concurrently, he launched Ozitech Solutions, an AI solutions provider, positioning it as a leader in delivering cutting-edge technologies to businesses. Ozigbu's current initiatives include developing an energy-efficient, agriculturally influenced senior community in Kingman, Arizona, reflecting his dedication to eco-friendly living and community enhancement. Beginning her professional journey in 2016 as a Branch Manager at Citizens Bank, she successfully transitioned into real estate as a mortgage loan officer, developing a deep understanding of housing finance and accessibility. Currently serving as a Property Manager for the City of Pittsburgh, Kelia oversees multiple high-rise buildings and more than 50 scattered site homes, providing essential housing solutions for seniors, low-income residents, and individuals with disabilities. Through her work, she has gained firsthand insight into the challenges seniors face in securing safe, affordable housing on limited incomes. Her intimate understanding of how poverty impacts housing quality has shaped her approach to property management and community development. As an advocate for affordable housing and witness to the national homelessness crisis affecting veterans and families, Kelia brings a unique perspective to her role as owner of 23 Realty Company, where she manages several properties throughout Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Her commitment to quality housing extends to her co-ownership of 23 Cleaning Company, which provides commercial and residential cleaning services in the region, ensuring well-maintained living spaces for all residents.
